This is the work I did on Lily Allen. We analysed her front cover and discovered that she is not following the conventions her typical style. We learnt about the theory's of Julian McDougall, Laura Mulvey, Stuart Hall, Richard Dyer.

How this has influenced my ideas

• I like how her expression matches the headline of the magazine
• I like how she is all black to match her genre
• I like how the headline interacts with the picture
